HI, I"M LEAH!

I’m a wife, mama of three, photographer, and the heart behind Leah Rose Photographs. Life is a little busy, a little messy, and almost always includes three kids tagging along—you'll find us at our favorite coffee shop, hunting for thrifted treasures, or spending an evening on the pickleball court.

My love for photography is deeply personal.

I was adopted from Russia at 18 months old and have very few photographs from the first chapter of my life. Growing up, I didn't fully understand how much that would shape me. But now, as a mother myself, I see photographs differently. They aren't just images—they're pieces of our story. They're reminders of where we've been, who we love, and the moments we never want to forget.

That perspective is what led me to create Leah Rose Photographs.

I know how quickly babies grow. I know how fast the little details change. I know that one day you'll miss the tiny hands reaching for yours, the sleepy newborn snuggles, and even the beautifully chaotic seasons that sometimes feel endless while you're living them.

That's why my goal is about so much more than taking pretty pictures.

I want to create photographs that feel like home. Images that bring you right back to this season years from now. Photographs that tell your story honestly, beautifully, and exactly as it is.

When you work with me, my hope is that you feel cared for from the moment you arrive. Whether you're visiting my studio or meeting me on location, I want the experience to feel relaxed, meaningful, and stress-free so you can focus on what matters most—loving on your family.

A FEW OF MY FAVORTIE PHOTOGRAPHS...

One of my favorite photographs is actually a collection of three.

The first is me at 18 months old—the age I was when I came home from Russia.

The second is my daughter at 18 months old, wearing the very same pink overalls I wore in that photograph years before.

The third is my son at 18 months old, carrying on the tradition in his own pair of overalls.

As a child, I never thought much about the lack of photographs from my earliest months. But becoming a mother changed everything.

Looking at my children at the same age I was when I came home has given me a completely different perspective on just how much happens during those first years of life. The tiny details, the milestones, the expressions, and the personalities that begin to shine through—those moments matter.

Those photographs remind me that pictures are about so much more than what we look like. They preserve pieces of our story. They connect generations. They allow us to hold onto moments that would otherwise slip away.

It’s one of the reasons photography means so much to me.

Because photographs aren’t just for today. They’re for the years from now when you want to remember exactly how this season felt.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me and the heart behind Leah Rose Photographs. I can’t wait to learn about you and your story, too.
